3. On-Grid Systems
On-grid (grid-tied) systems feed the electricity generated by solar panels directly into the national grid through a dedicated on-grid inverter.
These systems range from small residential setups (1–20 kWp) to large solar power plants (up to megawatts).
For homes or buildings with grid-connected solar systems, the PV system covers the building’s energy demand, and any excess electricity is automatically exported to the public grid.
